Curriculum
At Supreme Start School, we provide a broad, balanced and personalised curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of our pupils.
Our curriculum is delivered through three pathways to ensure every child can access learning at an appropriate level.
- Our Curriculum Pathways
Engagement Pathway
Supports pupils with complex needs through child-centred, experiential learning focused on communication, independence and early development.
Pre-Key Stage Pathway
Designed for pupils working below the National Curriculum. Learning is personalised, structured in small steps and linked to EHCP outcomes.
National Curriculum Pathway
A modified National Curriculum tailored to meet pupils’ needs. Core subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, PSHE and the Arts. We use the White Rose approach for Mathematics and Science.
Personal Development
Personal development is central to our curriculum. We actively promote British Values, wellbeing, independence and positive behaviour across all areas of learning.
Assessment
Progress is measured from individual starting points through ongoing assessment, personalised targets and regular review.
