What is the role of a Family Liaison Advisor?

• Provide advice and information for Parents/Carers.
• Support families in school meetings.
• Home visits.
• Sharing information on local activities & groups for Young people and their families.
• Advice/Listening ear.
• Coordinating family coffee mornings and support groups.

Hashim works with staff across the school to ensure that communication between home and school is effective.

Hashim liaises with other professionals to support families where a multi-agency approach is required/requested.
